In 1997, most bottle glass in India ended one of two ways: broken and buried in a landfill, or melted down for industrial recycling. Neither felt right for objects that had held wedding champagne, milestone whisky, or the wine at a first anniversary dinner. Every bottle carries a memory. Very few of them get to keep it.

The Krystal Kraft studio began with a small cutting bench in Vadodara and one guiding idea: the bottle should not be the end of the story, but the beginning of a new one. Over the first years, we developed the finishing techniques diamond-wheel cutting, multi-stage edge polishing, hand-glazing that would eventually let us turn any donor bottle into a functional, food-safe, retail-ready object.

By the early 2000s, hotels and restaurants had started noticing. What began as a boutique product line for local decor stores became a wholesale operation supplying hospitality groups, event companies, and interior designers across Gujarat. The signature blue Bombay Sapphire tea lights, the amber Chivas serving platters, the transparent Perrier drinking glasses these pieces began appearing in guest rooms, on restaurant tables, and inside luxury gift boxes.

Then came the corporate gifting era. Indian companies began looking for gifts with a story: something more considered than logo-printed swag, something that said the giver cared. Upcycled glass bottle art fit perfectly. Krystal Kraft became a quiet supplier to some of India’s largest corporate gifting programs.

By the 2020s, international buyers had discovered us. Today, our pieces ship to buyers in 28+ countries hotel groups in the GCC, boutique retailers in Europe, sustainability-focused e-commerce brands in North America, event stylists in Southeast Asia. And still, every single piece begins the same way: with a real donor bottle, a diamond wheel, and a pair of practiced hands in a small studio in Vadodara.
